Training and Professional Development

Under Pennsylvania law, the only mandatory training for Constables performing court-related duties is the Constable Basic Training Course. However, I have committed to exceeding this minimum standard by setting a personal goal of completing 100 hours of training annually.

Since taking my oath in 2022, I have completed a total of 300 hours of law enforcement and public safety training, including 89 hours in 2025 to date. An additional 20 hours of training is scheduled for the remainder of 2025, reflecting my ongoing commitment to professional development and service excellence.

In addition to formal instruction, I have gained many hours of in-the-field training alongside experienced constables who have served for many years, enhancing my practical knowledge, judgment, and readiness for duty.
