Training and Professional Development
Under Pennsylvania law, the only required training for Constables performing court-related duties is the Constable Basic Training Course. I’ve chosen to go well beyond this minimum by setting a personal goal of completing 100 hours of training each year.
Since taking office in 2020, I’ve completed 523 hours of training in law enforcement and public safety, including 50 hours so far in 2025. I have an additional 28 hours scheduled for the remainder of the year, underscoring my ongoing commitment to professional growth.
Beyond formal coursework, I’ve also spent many hours training in the field alongside veteran constables. Their experience has been invaluable in sharpening my practical skills and deepening my readiness to serve effectively.
