Constable Paul Castline went before the Mohnton Borough council to present what are Pennsylvania State Constables and how constables could support their law enforcement needs. WFMZ was there to report.

There are times when an officer performs their duties correctly and lawfully and may still be subject to lawsuits or prosecutions. There are organizations that are committed to supporting these officers in their defense. Check out the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund.

Constable Smith, from Windsor Township, York County had the pleasure to attend a great community event with Rep. Carol Hill-Evans. We discussed with the community what a Pennsylvania State Constable is and the various jobs they perform.

When filing a petition to fill a vacancy, include Title 44 § 7121 for review by relevant county officials and make sure the end date on the petition matches the end date for the unexpired term. The term length should not be shorter than the unexpired term.
